Despite some minor maintenance issues, the overall cleanliness was satisfactory, and I found the provided database to be helpful in planning my visit.
The leaking toilet was quite inconvenient, as it was only “fixed” with a Chinese food container to collect water. While this was a minor annoyance, it did detract from my overall comfort during the stay.

The staff was VERY FRIENDLY, accommodating, nothing to complain about. Overall it was beautifully maintained and newly remodelled with electric blankets. A microwave oven, an electric kettle, and fridges worked well.

I truly enjoyed very friendly and accommodating employees!
It was decent size, compact and with electric blankets. A kettle, an iron, and a toaster were there too.

At Avenue Motel in Ballarat, I enjoyed a warm and clean room for a budget stay, which suited our needs for attending a car show. While the breakfast shed offered a nice variety, the receptionist's lack of enthusiasm was disappointing.

Lights did not work, shower smelled, location almost imposisble to find on a drakj rainy night poor signage.

No complains at all, would recommend this hotel. It has well-maintained and newly decorated rooms with a kettle and an iron.

During my business trip, I appreciated the key location near local attractions, making it convenient to explore the area. The complimentary breakfast was decent, offering a variety of cereals and coffee, which was a nice way to start my day. I also liked that my room came equipped with a microwave and toaster-super handy for quick meals!
My experience was marred by rude staff and an unclean room. I was hit with a terrible odor upon entry, not to mention bugs on the walls and hair on the bed. The bathroom was in bad shape with soap scum and visible mold. To top it off, I felt unsafe due to rowdy guests outside—not what I expected for my stay. I won’t be coming back.

Simple place, it was clean and had really friendly stuff with my request to park my car prior to check in. The location was good, just a short walk away from a triumphal arch. Besides, I where next to the wall in a couple of spots and a restaurant.

Looked totally different to pictures of rooms on internet. No smoke detector in room but we had them install one. Tv didnt work so asked to have that repaired which they did. Had glasses tucked into mugs in a plastic container which was dangerous as I didn't realise and when getting a mug out from the top of fridge the glass fell out and shattered and as office was closed had to pick up by hand. Bed not very comfortable nor pillows. I guess for $80 not too bad but would not go back there. However lady from office was trying to help us.

I recently stayed for a weekend getaway and found this motel to be a good surprise. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a cozy bed that made sleeping a breeze. The heating and cooling were efficient, keeping the atmosphere just right. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with a pleasant dining area to enjoy my meal. Plus, the friendly staff really made my stay enjoyable. Conveniently, there’s a great fish and chip shop just a short walk away, adding to the overall charm of the location.
Totally recommend this hotel.

I was really impressed with the value for money here; the room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and cute, making the experience even better, plus it's conveniently located near a great fish and chip shop.
Breakfast choices could use some variety to enhance the experience.

The room
The fact that the iron burnt the shirt I needed that day and that I was told by the lady there that I had put the iron too hot (although my shirt is 100 pourcent cotton and the iron also burned the material on the board withoin a second...). I was really angry. I could have been given a small voucher or something.

Located on main road Sturt to Ballarat.
I couldn't get the door open as the lock was dodgy and seems to have been that way for awhile. Had to be shown the trick to getting the door open. was worried about getting locked in the room as well as dodgy from the inside too. Didn't feel comfortable at this motel, wasn't as clean or as nice as the other 4 I stayed at on my Victorian journey. Seems to have a lot of workers who stay at this location. I don't think this is suitable for families or solo travellers.
